Windermere Week 2014

Sunday August 10^th        the good to see you (again) day:
arrive from 16:00, launch, berth-up, park trailers,
refreshments available at the jetty,
from 18:30 bar open in the Club,
buffet (hot pie) at 19:00 followed by social evening

Monday August 11^th     polished brass and dress-up day,
steam the South Basin for lunch – options:
picnic at Fell Foot,  pub/restaurant (The Swan at Newby Bridge if draught allows,  Lakeside Hotel),
raft-up for tea in Cunsey Basin,
buffet (asian) at 19:00

Tuesday August 12^th     day of diversions:
morning: guided walk / Motor Museum / Holker Hall,
picnics at the jetty,
from 15:00 – time trials followed by steam to Wateredge Inn / Waterhead public jetty for pub supper,
night steam home as a flotilla.

Wednesday August 13^th     courtesy calls and competition:
steam to Steam Boat Museum (tbc – depends on building progress) and RWYC (tbc - for a drink),
mid afternoon handicap / obstacle racing at WMBRC,
casserole buffet at 19:00

Thursday August 14^th     classic rally stuff:
steam to Wray Castle harbour for midday picnic,
ice creams at Waterhead,
exercise stop at Brockhole,
carvery buffet at 19:00

Friday August 15^th        still a morning to go:
steam around Belle Isle,
raft up behind the island for morning coffee and picnic luncheon,
disperse / pull out and clear WMBRC by 16:00.
